Nahda Medical Students' Association

Mission Statement and Objectives

Our mission is to offer future physicians a comprehensive introduction to global health issues. Through our programs and opportunities, we develop active, efficient, and culturally sensitive students of medicine, intent on influencing the transnational inequalities that shape the health of our planet. 

The association’s purpose is to serve the community of medical students as well as the general population on various levels by: 

a. Empowering medical students in using their knowledge and capacities for the benefit of society. 

b. Providing a venue for medical students to debate subjects relating to individual and public health, education, and science with their peers from other Egyptian institutions as well as many other nationalities and to create policies based on such debates. 

C. Providing a link between members, medical students’ associations, and international organizations and encouraging cooperation between them for the ultimate benefit of the whole association. 

d. Promoting and facilitating professional and scientific exchanges; and projects and extracurricular training for medical students, thereby sensitizing them to other cultures and societies and their health problems.
